The Candelas Social Committee is responsible for planning and executing a number of annual community events. These events are 100% resident planned and lead.

2024 Social Committee Upcoming Events:

• Music in the Park at Maverick Mesa will be held Thursday June 27th. 
• Food Truck Fridays continue to be popular.
•  4th of July Parade with Arvada Fire at Church's Crossing. There will be lawn games and the fire department will dose the kids with the hose after a short parade.

Expectations and Duties of Committee Members:

• One resident from each village and one “at-large” to act as Chair
• Come up with exciting fun events to bring our community together
• Bring monthly ideas to Communications Committee
• Post social events on Facebook page(s) and email blasts
• Assist in on-site execution of community events
