Landscaping Committee
The Candelas Landscaping Committee (CLC) was established in September 2020 with representation from residents living in all neighborhoods. Members are passionate about quality of life and sustainable maintenance of landscaping for aesthetic and environmental benefits.
The CLC can be a voice for you to raise concerns and improve our community by working with the board, metro district, contractors, builders, and you. The committee looks at issues and requests related to drainage, irrigation, trees, natural areas, weed control, parks, snow/ice, and safety.
The CLC reviews the budget, facilitates better communication and use of technology, plans volunteer events (some examples are trash pickup, weed removal, tree planting), and make recommendations to the board to ensure appropriate use of funds for priority projects.
The committee does not review and approve landscaping applications at this time.
Because of scheduling conflicts for and weather report, the Wed November 6th CLC monthly meeting will be moved to Thursday November 7th at Townview clubhouse 5:30pm.
The committee meets the 1st Wednesday of the month from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at the Townview Clubhouse. Please see the running agenda below:
